I just received my new Work Buds and my first impression is that they are outstanding. I think this is exactly what I was looking for. I needed something compact that could work for travel but also be used if my regular headset had issues. The sound is excellent and so far I have been told my voice comes through loud and clear.

Work Buds are perfect for work & noisy environment

The earbuds themselves are outstanding. Great battery life, significantly improved microphone audio quality due to the boom mic and the better noise reduction than on the lower level models. However, the case is disappointing in that the cover is not secured with a hinge and magnet mechanism as on the lower level units, which leads to the case coming open if it's loose in your backpack, and that can activate the earbuds when you're not using them - causing you to miss notifications and calls on your phone, since it assumes you have the earbuds in your ears and only sends alerts there... which of course you can't hear, if they're in your backpack or briefcase. I feel like the charging case needs to be revised and a more secure snap fit setup introduced, if not the magnet lock setup that the Jlab Air charging cases have. That is the only drawback about this model. It's comfy, sounds good, and works well in a noisy environment, which is exactly what it need to do.

A wrap around ear version would be nice

I am a big fan of Jlab products and this is another good headset. The only thing I wish was available here is an option to have the option to buy these same earbuds where they wrap around your ear for support similar to the JLab Sport. I find these somewhat uncomfortable. If these

Versatile and Proofessional

I LOVE JLab's Work line. I have a headset in my home office and my work office, plus the Epic Mouse and Keyboard at home.
Sometimes I need to take my work on the road and the Work Buds are fantastic for this because I can go from a more casual situation at a coffee shop where maybe I am working and listening to music, to plugging in the boom mic and going into a meeting. I used it at a coffee shop for a meeting the other day and was told my audio was very clear and background noise was minimal.

The best ear buds for taking calls

Whereas most ear buds are designed primarily for listening to music, the Work Buds are designed for taking calls. They work great for taking calls in a noisy cafe environment - an environment where other ear buds pick up all kinds of background noise and make it hard for other people on the calls to hear.
One feature I really wish JLab would add to the Work Buds is local mic mute. So that regardless of which application I'm using for the call (Slack, Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, etc), when I push mute the mic is muted at the ear buds hardware level. This feature should have some audio indicator, like a voice saying "muted" or "un-muted", so it's very clear to the user whether the mic is on or off.

Waiting on an app and hopefully an update.

I bought a pair of the Work buds as soon as i saw them. I have nothing but high praise for Jlab products. I was upset when I found out the app to control these buds was not available, and I was not able to easily connect to my work phone. Perhaps when the app is available, things will change, even my rating.

Love them!

I bought these about 4 months ago, after being a loyal fan of the Go Work Wireless for almost 2 years, and let me tell you these are amazing! I easily spent 6+ hours daily on calls as I work remotely, and I only have to charge the case once a week.
The sound quality, the battery life, the case size, everything, and it also helps me a lot with the fatigue from having my ears covered for such extended periods of time. I use them with my laptop and Android devices.
The only not-so-nice thing is that it doesn't have a mute button, but so far I'm very happy and will ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND these.
