The only thing worse than this equipment is Brother's customer service. Horrible.

Expensive and began production in 2002

I have one, this price is very high and since they have been around since 2002, I would wonder if they are selling refurbished units that come back in. I found and advertisement flyer from Brother pushing these in 2002. Technology has come a long way in 20 years. Buy a newer less expensive brother if you need one.

Worse Purchase Ever

We have had nothing but problems with our IntelliFix-5750e. Every morning we have to unplug it for about 2 or 3 minutes then plug it back in - in order to recieve faxes. We get the PLS OPEN COVER message and when we do, there's not any jam. We had to send one back to recieve another one because we could not troubleshoot it. We only had the machine for 6 months and have had nothing but problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Machine

Bought 2 machines at the same time. One started up flawlessly, 2nd machine did not work. Local Brother repair center thinks motherboard was fried.
