Easy to use, safe, compact, easy to clean and the price was more than right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my slicer for a while and I so so love it. I bake bread and this slicer makes it so easy to get perfect slices to portion and freeze. It’s safe to use unlike the electronic slicer I had which scared me. It’s easy to clean, it’s compact. The suction is excellent and the ease in selecting exactly the width of slice I want makes it even better. I love love love this slicer for meat too. Slicing for an au jus Sammy is so perfect using this wonderful machine. It’s a can’t live without kitchen helper. And the price was so affordable. When I saw it are local co op store I pretty much knew it was going into my cart.

Handle lock broke

After only 3 uses, the part of the handle that is supposed to lock it in place broke. So it keeps coming off as I'm using it, which is annoying.

Horrible. Does not work properly at all. Thickness only starts at 3, moves all over the place despite trying to lock in place, slider keeps coming off. Waste of money.

Great Bread Slicer

I mainly use this slicer for slicing homemade bread, and it works very well. The slices are even and the thickness is adjustable. I like that it’s manual, which makes it feel safer to use. It’s also easy to clean and store. I would definitely recommend it for this purpose.
