I use it for potatoes but also for other vegies and fruits.Makes peeling fun,so kids help out in the kitchen.Easy to store and clean

works well! a lot less time consuming than peeling potatoes one by one. The blade is quite sharp, peels potatoes in minutes.

I bought this three weeks ago and the switch no longer works. I liked the way it peeled pears, but think it should last much longer than three weeks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
