The overall quality is okay, but the cabinet is not very well built or sturdy. One lacking feature that is quite annoying is that the drawers will not stay closed on their own. You literally have to tilt the cabinet backwards to keep the drawers from opening on their own. The tracks do not have an indent in the closed position.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
