Easy to learn & tons of fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thoroughly enjoyed this game—it's a blast! I adore the eerie, sinister vibe with curses and weaponry, and the fact that it's just a card game makes it perfect for taking to a friend's house for a game night. The artwork is stunning, and it accommodates 3-5 players. I played with 3 and imagine it'd be even more enjoyable with 5. Plus, it's not overly time-consuming; once you grasp the rules, a game can be wrapped up in 30-40 minutes. If you like RPG and strategy games, this is for you.

Interesting, Not Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I LOVE Betrayal: House on the Hill, and was stoked to get this. But we sat down to play it and it fell a little flat. For one, I'm not sure who the artist is on this game, and I can't find that out so I'm afraid it may be AI art. Secondly, you must play with a traitor, so the tutorial is a little boring for a first time playing. Not sure if this will stay on my shelf, but was nice to play a new game.

Ok Game, Not Betrayal At House On The Hill
on May 16, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this because I have played Betrayal At House on the Hill and was hoping to like this just as much. However, the game was a bit slow to get started and understand, and while the directions state that it can be played with as few as three people, I think more are needed to make it truly interesting and enhance the mystery. I couldn't decide if I liked the artwork on the cards or not because I questioned whether it was AI generated. The text could also be difficult to read for some users, and overall, I wished they were smaller. They were too big and clunky for my taste/hands. I would give it another try, but it wouldn't be my first choice for a game night. It was just ok.

A fun game with a twist ..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a fun time playing this game with my family, we really enjoyed the gameplay and it kept us interested. The packaging is simple just a deck of cards in a box.
There’s some nice twists and turns within the game that I don’t want to spoil.

Great card game if you like scary movies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this game from Influenster and Hasbro free in exchange for my honest review. I personally found the setting up and beginning to this game to be confusing so it was a slow start. Once you begin to understand the rules of the game, it becomes fun. Trying to escape the curses of the house on the hill reminds me a lot of escape rooms with a twist. The packaging is nice and sturdy and the artwork on the box looks nice. The cards are sturdy with beautiful artwork and a slight embossing on them. While the font on the cards take a little bit to adjust to, I find a card game with curses and omens to be a great addition to the game collection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packing was excellent. Durable, high quality material. Bright colours on deck made the cards really appealing. However, when we tried to play the game, the instruction were a bit too complex for us and could not get to do it.
