I was impressed by the bike at first. it looks nice, and for the price i figured i would give it a try. after about 2-3 weeks the chain started to get stuck as i was pedaling. the roads in Winnipeg are rough and i did go over alot of small pot holes, uneven roads etc...
the range is not as long as advertised. i got around maybe 32KM on a full charge. the bike is only one speed but if you pedal faster the motor will give extra power. and sometimes if you pedal extra slow the bike will go slow, but that is usually when the battery is not fully charged. when it is fully charged it will go about 20km an hour no matter how slowly you pedal.
all in all pretty good for the price, but if you have to go over a lot of bad roads the bike will not hold up, i had to return mine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am 65 years old. Bike riding was my favorite exercise when I was a teen. I now have a permanent back injury that has kept me from much movement at all. This bike got me outside for half an hour on the first ride !!
My second ride was 2 hours. The seat is very comfortable. It does go very fast, and even with the small wheels it is fairly smooth.
Unboxing and setting up was a breeze, collapsing for storage is also very easy.
I am not able to pedal much, so I have not figured out the knack for making that smooth, just takes time.
