Poor Fitment

Just assembled my fireplace and discovered the following issues. The lid edge had been dented, presumably in shipment causing poor fitment across the top of the screens and the bowl was scraped and gouged in several spots from shifting components. The screen is out of round and does not fit properly in the lip of either the lid or the bowl.The lock washers are too small which allows them to be drawn through the elongated screen attachment points when tightening the screws.

After purchasing a similar product at Menards that we returned, we purchased this fire pit. It is well made and went together very easily. I will feel very confident using this product/

I really did not want to purchase this based on family and friend reviews. However, we do not burn often and for the price and the fact that it has wheels so it is easily movable we purchased it based on our needs. The instructions and how they have things labeled for assembly was not very user friendly but we managed to get it together. If you burn often or burn HOT fires, this is not the fire pit for you as the expanded metal walls will warp. If you casually burn here and there twigs and yard scraps then this is the perfect fit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We've owned one for about 6 years. But the undercarriage rusted and broke. So we got another. Nothing else compares to the size and mobility.

Good size for the money

Bought this a week or so ago. Metal enclosure was tough to make a good "round" on it and have it fit tightly. Didn't help the directions weren't exactly right.

Quality, easy assembly except...

As I was organizing all of the parts for assembly I noticed the durable quality of each piece including the nuts and bolts. The instructions were clear and I liked the visuals. The only problem I had with assembly is that the silver meshed walls came out oblong instead of circular. I had to really work to get them into the round base without bending them. Other than that, I would rate this product as excellent.

Our children purchased this fire pit for our summer birthdays. We like the doors on this product. It makes it easier to insert the wood instead of removing the lid.
