Would be better if it was resistant to heat and rust. Also needs heavier guaged steel.

I had one like this that was at least 15 years old and I did not expect i would find one of the same quality. I am impressed with this fireplace and am very satisfied.

I bought a very similar product and it lasted 20 years. I noticed that this product was not of the same quality and I will be surprised if it lasts 5 years. The directions were unclear at times and the final step of affixing the sides inside the grill was herculean. I would not recommend this product at this time.

this is my third one, just bigger. i still have the smaller one and its 9 yrs. old. this will last as long.

Many years of enjoyment

This is my second one. The first one lasted 10 years. I love to warm myself on cold evenings, while my children love to roast marshmallows and make s'mores. When it arrived, my kids were bugging me to put it together so they could make s'mores. I love the fact that I can wheel it to an out of the way spot when not in use.

Perfect pit! The grate, that so many complain of, is extremely easy to adjust! The holes are adjustable so don't tighten them when you pit it together. I did and it didn't fit into the bottom pit, so I loosened the bolts and it literally fell into place! I then snugged up the bolts and it has been perfect...love this pit!
