I purchased this to add something extra to our outdoor living space, and I'm glad I did. I also purchased separate fireglass in a coordinating color with the linens and rugs. The end result was amazing. Some cons tho, the ring doesn't light easily and thats annoying, the holes are only on the inside of the ring, which makes it difficult to place the fireglass. I dont want to see the burner at all when using it and i hate that with this one you have to keep the glass away from the burner in order for it to work. The handle on the lid is genius, but the underside mechanism digs into the glass making it neccessary to remove even more decorative glass. Something worth looking into and tweeking considering other tables on the market like this one don't have this problem. Assembly was fairly easy for 1 person, once getting through the instructions. Nothing was labeled on the pieces. And the overall look and design was perfect. Great size, sturdy and not cheesy like other outdoor furniture pieces on the market.

Easy to assemble and works perfectly. I almost don't notice our view because I just stare at our fire pit.

Terrific Fire Pit Table for the Price

We searched for some time to find a relatively inexpensive fire pit table that looked good. This Fire Sense fire pit table from Hayneedle fit the bill, and we are very pleased with it. It looks great. In fact, the woven cast aluminum matches our outdoor wicker furniture perfectly, almost like it was made to go with it. The fire pit table was very easy to put together, and it fired up the first time. The table top that goes over the lava rocks when not in use is really nice, and the free cover is a nice addition. If you've got outdoor wicker furniture, I'd highly recommend this fire pit table.
I took off one star because one of the legs of the fire table did not have required inserts to hold the screws, and the screw holes on the metal table top where the plunger is screwed in didn't hold the screws. Despite these minor issues, we got the table together fine, but it was a tad wobbly on one leg. Neither of these issues were major problems. I called Fire Sense's customer service, and they were terrific. They quickly sent out a replacement leg, and we got it in three days. I just used a metal-bonding epoxy to attach the plunger to the table top, which works fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice Quality, Not that difficult to assemble. Getting the flame to lite is a little tricky. I believe do to safety valve and precautions.

Great Fire Pit; very beautiful and sturdy

This puppy weights 85lbs when everything is assembled; so it is sturdy. It took me longer than 60 minutes to assemble; no big deal. Directions were good. Once it was assembled we placed the beautiful white crystals in the pit; attached a propane tank after testing for leaks and Voila!! It is very pretty, hot (if you need it) and when you are not using it the key is you can use it as a table for cards, dinner, etc.
Comes with a nice cover, too!! So far, so good.
