Not like the old cases

I was looking for one that completely closes around the whole pod but this one is in two pieces and doesn't have a tight latch.

Doesn't fit and started to peel within two weeks

Unfortunately, Speck really missed the mark on this one. Immediately, while attempting to put my gen2 AirPods into the Presidio gen2 case, I could tell something was off. It didn't fit very well and I could hear the telling sign of creaking that the plastic was stretching. I gave it two weeks to settle, and the fit is a little better, but the case does not close completely. Additionally, after only two weeks of putting the Presidio case in my pocket, some sort of coating film is already peeling off the case. It looks it's ten years old. My Presidio gen 1 case still looks brand new.

I like the soft touch and appreciate the smaller size with the change in the previous design. However I've had the ring that connects the lid fall off once already so I wonder if this could be an issue going forward. It's a little easier to open than the previous design but I can't say I really minded the older design.

This AirPod case feels like the normal iPhone case has a nice and grip and sleek fit if you are looking at it and have doubts just do it it's worth it very good case

Love it! The color is fantastic and the case fits great, it’s nice and secure. I have no issues charging my AirPods either. I’m pretty much only buying speck cases for my Apple products at this point.
