Truly a Perfect Pan. From Stove to Table.

This is my go to wedding gift. In this Dark Blue color too. It is a stunning deep blue. But better than the color is the usefulness of the pan itself. It's so easy to make stews, curries and pasta sauce in this wok shaped pan. Combine ingredients and simmer until you bring it to the table for the family to enjoy together. The heavy duty cast iron keeps food warm while you enjoy.
I also use mine for deep frying. Tempura. Fish fry. French fries. It comes with the draining rack. So easy to work with, and easy to clean afterwards.

Great pan for deep frying

the cast iron helps keep the temp very consistent, which you need for deep frying, the resting rack is helpful so that the liquid or oil drains back to the pan, leaving things nice and crisp. I haven't tried it yet for stir fry but I've heard good things.

So Many Uses

This is one of the most versatile cookware pieces I own. The half-moon shelf lets me keep foods warm while I'm finishing cooking the remainder of the meal. Used it to make burgers and kept several on the rack, added cheese to those while the others finished cooking. As others have said, it is great to use to deep fry. Really, you'll find lots of uses for it is the Perfect Pan.

This dark blue perfect pan is one of my favorite piece of Staub I like to pull out when I'm cooking for guests. It is so versatile and especially makes for a great deep fryer to make wings for game days, donut holes for weekend sweets or just making a healthy-ish kung pao cauliflower stir fry.

These 4.5qt. makes it so versatile and perfect little things to add in your collections. I love the fact that it has flatter bottom for maximize heat contact for all stove top surfaces.

This is a "Perfect Pan", I use it as a wok, but so many other uses. The enamel bottom doesn't scratch my stovetop and requires little oil. I like that because I'm trying to cut calories.

Can't get enough of this one! Sautes, braises, fries and more. Great deep blue colour. Cleans in a snap. Inside enamel is super-tough.
