Color is not accurate, more dimensions would have been helpful

I ordered the taupe velvet high back. Attached are photos of the arms prior to assembly—the chair is brown in person, which would have been fine. The dimensions of the seat itself are significantly smaller (just slightly less wide but significantly less long) than my last chair and doesn’t leave room for my cat, which is why I had the last chair I did. I do also like to sit cross legged, and the chair seat is *just* long enough to accommodate that, but not very comfortably (I’m 5’4” and I think I have shorter legs), and why I opted for this chair rather than one of the ergonomic ones. Assembly was easy enough for one person, but overall I’m disappointed and would have benefited from the actual seat dimensions having been posted on the website, and am mostly posting this in the event some other person who also likes to sit weird in their office chair may benefit from this review. The back and cushioning do seem comfortable.

Great chair, but too short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great chair, love the look and feel, but I definitely needed the tall cylinder add-on. Unfortunately, it didn't arrive at the same time, and I had no idea how hard it would be to replace it when it did arrive. It suggests that I use a rubber mallet. Who has a rubber mallet? I still can't separate the chair parts to install the new tall cylinder. Very disappointing, very frustrating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. Doesn’t squeak or make noise when shifting in chair and the tilt/lift operate very smoothly. Fabric also seems durable and soft enough. The only thing I wish were different is the armrests — they aren’t very comfortable when leaning on them, even if only for a few seconds. It would be great if the top of the armrests were somewhat flat, rather than a “sharp” edge.

Good except for strange scent

A few reasons why it only gets 4 stars: - Assembling the bottom was really challenging, I tried for hours on my own, then was successful with another person. It was also mis-labeled. - One strange thing is that it has a pungent smell, especially after sitting for a while. I thought it would dissipate, but lingers after having it for a few months now.
