Lower back pain issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure if it’s the chair but ever since I got it, I have been having lower back pain. The chair was super easy to assemble and very comfortable so it’s strange that I am feeling lower back pain after almost 2 weeks of use. I will continue to use and see if it’s just a break-in period.

Very happy with purchase

I installed the chair yesterday with the headrest and tall cylinder. I will say it was not the easiest thing to install. It was heavy and I had issues but when finished it looked terrific. My first impressions were none of the paddles worked but that was my problem because to use the paddles you got to turn them with some pressure. Once I figured that out the chair worked perfectly perfectly. I am really pleased with the chair. It is comfortable. Gives me back support and looks nice. I think Branch is a good company to buy from and they have good products

It’s a beautiful chair and durable. It has also alleviated my back pain from sitting at my desk. I’d recommend it highly!

Surprisingly bad lumbar support

I did a good amount of research and finally pulled the trigger on this chair. I've only used it for 1 work day and my back is aching - the lumbar support is horrendous and feels like a brick in your back. I'm truly surprised about all the rave reviews considering I've been using a wooden kitchen chair for the past 6 years and find it to be more comfortable. This was meant to be a treat for a recent promotion but feels more like a trick. After 8 painful hours and numerous adjustments to the lumbar support, I've fully removed it. I'm not optimistic this is the solution, because now I have 0 lumbar support, but time will tell. On the plus side, it looks fine and assembly was simple.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good, not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price I paid for this chair, I feel the quality is lacking. The pros: base is solid, wheels roll smoothly, back is breathable, my lumbar feels supported with the ergonomic features, and it looks good in my office. Cons: the seat is not breathable, doesn’t feel great to sit in for too long, and the fabric feels cheap (rough and is a magnet for hair). The arm rests slide forward almost every time I adjust my position and the seat also shifts forward when I scoot toward my desk - everything was assembled according to instructions and has been double and triple checked. Just annoying more than anything. Overall, it’s a decent chair but I had much higher expectations based on the reviews I read and recommendations from friends. I don’t see how the quality justifies the price tag.
