[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this chair, especially given the price, but unfortunately it hasn’t been quite as comfortable or functional as I was hoping.The recline is probably my biggest frustration. It doesn’t always stay locked where I set it, and I often have to try a few times before it actually catches. I’m also on the shorter side and really wish the chair could go a little lower. The armrests are quite thin too, so they’re not as comfortable as I expected for longer periods of sitting.That said, the chair itself looks great. I really like the color and the material feels nice and high quality. It’s a beautiful chair, which is part of why I’m disappointed that the comfort and functionality haven’t quite lived up to what I expected at this price point.

Very comfortable, sturdy chair

I’ve found the Softside Chair to be very comfortable and well-made. The chair provides a great balance of support and padding. I purchased the version with a high back and really like the extra support. Although this model does not have the amount of adjustability of some other office chairs, it has all the adjustability I need, and it’s substantially more enjoyable to use than other chairs I’ve had in the past. At this price point, this is a fantastic option.Assembly was straightforward, with clear instructions provided. At 5’11”, I find the piston just high enough to work at full extension, but I may consider getting the longer piston option to allow the chair’s vertical height to be increased a bit.

Comfortable & Stylish

After alot of research, I settled on the Branch Softside chair with high back, and I love it. I didn't have to compromise comfort for style. The chair is so comfortable, well made, easy to assemble, and looks great in my office. It was certainly a well made investment.
