I’ve only had this chair for a couple about a week, so my opinion may change on the comfort after I’ve spent some more time in it. However, I will say the chair was fairly easy to put together (and this is coming from someone who ALWAYS needs help assembling furniture). The directions were very clear and easy to follow, and while a second person may have been helpful just to hold some parts together while screwing, I was able to do it alone in less than an hour. I am about 5’8” so I bought the tall cylinder based on reviews that this chair sits low and am glad I did, it’s the perfect height. I will say I wish the chair was a little deeper- it is nice and wide but the back is so stiffly straight, it almost feels like it pushes me forward a bit and my legs end up hanging over the edge more than they probably should. When you try to recline the chair, it tilts the seat back as well (you can’t just recline the back rest) so that’s a little annoying. The vegan leather material feels like it will hold up well over time and be easy to clean if needed. Overall, it feels like a sturdy, quality piece of furniture that is definitely an upgrade from the incredibly uncomfortable chair I was using prior.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After doing tons of research on lots of office chairs I purchased the Branch soft side chair. It is comfortable, supportive and good looking. As a bonus I found the assembly directions easy to understand and follow.

Extra love for removable armrests

I tend to sit in a thousand weird shapes, and knowing the armrests are waiting for me if I want them, but currently I can use the chair without them = chef's kiss. Chose the dark blue velvet, quality and look of it is excellent.

Nice chair but beware of the assembly

Chair seems comfortable and looks very good. However, understand that you will need to assembly every single piece of the chair (there are zero sub assemblies) - extremely difficult to align the chair sides to the bottom.
