Unbelievable

This is my first cast iron cookware and out of the box (after washing) I made a gumbo that cooked for 3-1/2 hours and it might be the best dish I have ever made. It came out perfect and clean up took less than 5 minutes with little effort. This cookware rocks and I look forward to using the 10" fry pan to make fried potatoes and onions.

Exactly what I wanted

Amazing Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just purchased the Staub 7 piece set and am in Love. I love the heat distribution and heat retention from the 5.5 qt round. The lid fit tight and I love that it retained moisture in the lid. The handles were large enough that with oven mitts easy to handle. I am ready for the Holidays!!!! Only regret- I do not purchase earlier.

A perfect birthday gift for a friend. I had one in my previous home and I have always marveled at his quality and ability to handle a variety of cooking foods and cooking styles. The most important thing is his design and the shine of his appearance. This makes him a perfect birthday gift. I am sure it will keep my friend company within a long time in the future.
