Will be the perfect December 1st gift

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so excited to give this to my six year old on December 1st. Looks like a fun advent with a variety of items including 23 accessories and ten cars! I love that the box turns into a festive play scene with a gingerbread house as well.

Solid Advent Calendar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hot Wheels Advent calendar was super fun to open with my 5 year old. The cars included were great and I was surprised with the creativity of the accessories. Everything had a lot of playability. I was a bit disappointed with the material of the accessories, it was pretty flimsy, but what great ideas. My 5 year old was a bit disappointed that Santa was not included like on the box. Overall a very solid and fun advent calendar, just a step away from really being great!

Fun advent calendar

I wish it came with a car a day but there are only 10 cars. The other items arob't overly fun or engaging. However, as usual, hot wheels cars are always a winner at our house- and we love the exclusive car!!

Oh the anticipation! A new toy every morning!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is almost four years old. She loves Hotwheels cars and this was such a treat for her to test out! I helped her open each door of the cardboard box that the toys came in. I wish the numbers on the Advent Calendar were in order but I think it was designed out of order because of how each toy fits in the box, so I understand. It was just a bit difficult to find some of the numbers. The cars were exciting and very good quality. Some toys were confusing on certain days. There were a lot of plastic pieces that we assumed fastened to the cars in some way and so we figured it out, but they didn’t seem to have a great purpose. She ended up opening all of the toys after the third day because we were so confused with that plastic piece she opened and she wanted to figure out what its purpose was. I might have had her wait if we weren’t testing the toy and on a time crunch. I appreciated the thought behind the cardboard design on the back of the box so that it could be set up as a race track stand but I didn’t realize that until too late and the directions were way too small with only a photo and no words. I think there needed to be some general paper directions for the entire toy anyway. Overall, my daughter really enjoyed this Hotwheels Advent Calendar and it kept her interest for one whole hour. I would recommend it to friends. I think there is room for improvement with instructions and design.

Super Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super Fun! The kids loved opening the advent calendar. The days of cars vs other items were well spread out that they were excited each day open. The variety of cars were fun and unique. The accessories were fun and silly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this as part of the play rate review program. It’s a really cool advent calendar. It has quite a few cars and Christmas accessories. There is a car with a snowman that got the kids attention. We also really liked the ginger bread house.

Fun advent calendar!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is obsessed with advent calendars so even though it’s nowhere near Christmas, we got this calendar and used it as an opportunity to practice his numbers (he’s in pre k). I had him look for the doors with the numbers that he already knew (which was great since this calendar didn’t put them in sequential order so he actually got to hunt for numbers and work on number recognition). And then I helped him to look for numbers he doesn’t recognize as easily written by showing him examples and having him hunt. He was so excited with this activity! The track for this was a bit disappointing but there were some interesting car decorations. Also he loved the abominable snowman that holds a car! Another favorite here was the snowman car. Overall this set is pretty standard to most advent calendars and he did lose interest fast but we tend to have that issue with all of them.
