Wonderful machine

I love my brother 1034d serger!! I used it right out of the box. It is so easy to operate. You can control the speed with the foot pedal. I needed to thread the machine and it was so easy to do following the video and book directions. I am so glad that I purchased this machine.

I love my serger! It is easy to thread and sees like a dream. The only suggestion that I would make us that the colors used to color code where to thread the machine are hard to distinguish and would be easier if they were more of a contrast between them.
It is a great machine for the price.this is my second server and I would recommend it to everyone.

I would highly recommend this brother serger it is great for the projects that I've used it for I like to make bags pillow cases and other things that need to be over solved. Other than the thread that comes with it being a little on the cheaper and less user-friendly side once I switch to standard cones I've never had a problem is very easy to thread

I have to say this has been my favorite Serger, even compared to the expensive ones that I have had. I have had this one for a couple of years and it is great.

Love. love . love my 1034D serger

Initially I purchased my 1034D serger by Brother to hem a gown for my neighbor's daughter. She had a 3 layered gown with a train and it was at least 4 inches too long. She needed the gown for the following month for a military ball. After looking at the layers and knowing how long it would take me as I ususally hem by hand, I decided to finally buy that serger. I did all my homework and it lead me straight to the 1034D. It sat in my sewing area for at least 3 days before I even tried to use it. My mistake. I was intimidated but once I did everything as outlined in the instructions, it was a breeze. I want to use my 1034D for everything I sew now. I am so glad I purchased my Brother 1034D. I

This is my first purchase of a serger. I had checked reviews and the Brother 1034D was a top choice for value. I am not disappointed. Greater starter machine and very portable.

Great Machine!

I originally had a 929D and when it wore out and the authorized dealer wanted more to fix it than the cost of a new one, I decided to buy the 1034D (basically the same machine). I use it often as I sew things to sell at craft shows. I convert a lot of regular pattern to the serger, and it saves me a lot of time. I love it.
