Good for the money

Not a true 4 thread as it does not make a chain stitch with an overedge seam finish. It is more of a 3-thread as it makes a nice narrow seam as used for knits. Since I bought it for seam finishing, not seams , it works for me. Definately noisy, but has easy adjustments This is my third overlock. I use my Singer 5-thread for most sewing. I previously owned a small 4 thread that made a real seam. Good for the money.

Super sewing serger

I am so pleased that I bought this serger. It is amazing how quick it sews and also how neat it makes all my sewing look.i do not have frayed edges anymore and my sewing looks very neat and professional.

Love this Serger!

This is my second Serger purchase. The first was a Singer back in early 90's. While it was a good machine it was torture to thread. This machine sews perfect stitches.... I have threaded it a couple of times and it was pretty straightforward. I received the usual excellent service from this Amazon vendor. I am completely satisfied and highly recommend this Brother Serger and this vendor

Not a bad machine

This has been a nice little machine so far. I only had some problems with threading the machine, as I couldn't quite understand the diagrams for the underlooper, but once I got it figured out, it was smooth sailing from there.
I've already sewn on a variety of different fabrics without any problems and am enjoying the different variations of stitches I can sew. It has been fairly easy to use and is very user friendly. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Pleasantly Surprised

This was an unexpected Christmas present that my husband picked out. This is my first serger, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it operates, the initial setup out of the box with the color coordinated thread, the instruction video, and instruction book. It was very user friendly for a new serger user. I'm planning on buying the special feet and plastic carrier to go with it. I believe this serger will do everything that I need as a home seamstress!

great machine

I haven't had this serger for too long, but after the initial trouble I had with trying to thread it I find it a breeze to use. I just couldn't get the threading right with the instructions so I went online and watched a video and now it take just minutes to rethread it.
I like the fact that I can use big spools or regular spools of thread and I like that I can use 3 or 4 spools. I would recommend this to everyone that is interested in purchasing this type of machine.
