After many internet seaches on different brands, I chose the
Brother 1034D. Please watch the enclosed how to discs. It will make the threading very easy. I am currently still practicing and haven't actually started a project. However I really like, no love my machine. I would definitely suggest this machine to other people.

Very pleased with the Brother 1034D 3/4 Serger.
I am a seamstress and costumer for College and High School productions. I've been looking for a new Serger because my White Serger had been giving me trouble for a year now. I am very pleased with this serger. It's easy to thread and a really solid machine. Well worth the price I paid.

Great Machine

My third & by far the best and simplist Serger that I've had. So very EASY to thread and use!! Does a great job and I love the other standard features of this machine (easy lower knife, rolled hem). I highly recommend the 1034D for beginners or those with limited space.

I have had my serger for only a couple of months. I wasn't sure that I would like it, but it is easy to thread and it is easy to follow. You can also switch from using the cutter to just binding it with just a turn of the handle. The price is reasonable, and I would recommend it.

I have been wanting a serger for years, but I had always heard they were temperamental and hard to thread. I finally took a chance, researched all the brands and read all the reviews. The Brother 1034D was the perfect price and all the reviews were glowing. I would recommend this to anyone.

1034D Serger

My Serger sat on my sewing table about a week before I used it. I read the booklet that came with it so I could become familiar with it. I think I was scared and felt intimidated with it. I finally got the nerve to use it. My fright of it was not necessary!! It is very easy to use and to thread. I just love it and already have made some napkins with the rolled edge. They look professional. I then took them to my Brother PE770 Embroidery machine and embroidered a butterfly on the corner of the napkin. I can hardly believe I did this. They are beautiful. Now, I will be making napkins for family. I also intend to make some cloth bags. I just LOVE it!!!!

Love this serger. Very user-friendly and stitches out very nicely. One of the best operating manuals I've used in a long time. Absolutely love the entire package.

I replaced 3 Singer machines for 3 Brother Machines - Sewing, Embroidery, and Serger. I am very pleased with the serger as well as the other machines. Thank you for the products.
