Makes sewing a breeze

I was somewhat intimidated at first. I watched all the instructional dads before using. I practiced on random fabric first. When it came time to change thread I researched video step by step and it worked perfectly. This machine has saved me so much time.

I bought this new 3 days ago. I wanted this so bad but there are concerning issues and I have to return it. The hand wheel is really hard to turn, like it is jammed. When threading, it sounds terrible, the very first guide sounds like it will shred the thread (it doesn't though). It sews perfectly, that's why I am confused. Not my first serger so I know this is not right. Sad. I still think this machine is great, I just think I received a troubled one, it happens.

After my first serger (another brand) became increasingly impossible to use, I purchased the Brother based on reviews. I LOVE this machine! It works like a dream and is really easy to use and maintain.

This is one of my favorite purchases ever. (Second only to my Brother SQ9185 machine.) The instructional cds are great. It is easy to thread. The stitches are even and perfect. Thank you for making an exceptional and affordable serger!

I have a many thousand dollar serger, but this is my favorite. It works for thick or thin fabrics and the stitches are perfect!! You should keep it oiled and clean for many years of service.
