Replacement for worn out serger

My Singer serger died after a very useful long life. I used to sew clothes and bridal dresses for the public. I only sew for my family and friends now. I have mainly used my serger for this only, especially with the fabric that frays so badly today. I have just started using it for some quilting projects recently. Since I do not use it all the time, I checked the reviews and price that would fit my needs. I also saw the serger on It's Sew Easy TV program. It meets my needs, and I threaded it the first time. YEAAAA! That was always the hardest for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wanted one for a long time and love my brother sewing and embroidery machine so stuck with the brand, easy to thread and fun to work with.

Very good quality and warranty

I never used a surger before. Out of the box, raised the thread tower, made sure the thread was not bound up, plugged it in and had a beautiful stich. I rethreaded the machine with white just to get it out of the way and after watching the YouTube video for the lower looper it was super easy. Light and easy to use. Lots of features and YouTube videos showing how to use it. I watched the videos before the purchase to make sure it was the machine for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really love this machine. I was hesitant to purchase because I thought,it's so inexpensive that it must not be well made. Well so far, this is far from that thought.

I got this serger 3 months ago. I have nothing but trouble serging. I have a JANOME and it work much better for an old serger. Inserting 2 needles at once is a bit troublesome. Should be one at a time. I like your other Brother sewing products. I guess i got a lemon. The sewrger had to go in for repairs jwhen i got, Just sits on the counter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
