LOve it! Brother has made this serger so easy to use.Threading the lower loopers is a breeze! all the setting dials and knobs are clearly marked ...and it sews like a dream. Thanks Brother for yet another awesome product

Great beginner Serger

I've been serging for over 30 years. Sadly, I had to give up the serger I had because I could no longer thread the lower looper. After doing some research, I decided to replace my serger with the 1034D. The first week I had it, I made over 30 fleece scarves and they came out perfectly. I must say that threading this machine is a breeze. The lower looper threads so easily. I haven't done the rolled hem yet, that will be next week; but I am hoping it is easy as it looks in the video that I found on You Tube. The instructional video that comes with the machine does not work on Windows 10. If you enjoy sewing and haven't yet stepped into serging, the 1034 D is a GREAT affordable basic machine. I am very happy that I purchased this machine.

Bought this and it had a bit of a learning curve for threading, but I have made atleast 1000 gators (neckwarmers) and it is going strong

Solid, easy to use

This server works as well as my Husqvsrns/Viking which cost more than twice as much. But the instructions for this model are so much easier to understand and explain everything clearly. I get nice stitches which using both regular and embroidery threads.

Haven’t had it too long but so far it’s the best. I thought the threading would be hard to do but it’s pretty easy. Can’t wait to do some more projects. Here’s my first. Great purchase!
