This serger is amazing

I own a Brother Innovis 1500D and this 1034D serger and I have to say I had the machine approximately 6 months and was afraid to take the cover off it. Well, I sat down and watched some videos how to thread it on Youtube and wala, I was amazed at this little machine! Its fast, it cuts and sews at the same time and I have been experiencing with some varying width stitches. I love it. I cant say enough about it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This machine is so smart from the easy threading, to the storage of the spreader finger, to my absolute favorite thing about this machine…the presser foot release is on the left!! My other brand machine was so annoying with this release on the right. I also really liked the extra feet and how the manuals showed you how to use them. I never knew I could do so much with just my serger!

2 Years ago, I purchased this Serger and have used it extensively. I had no trouble learning to use this. I have used this for gathering, securing the edges of baby quilts for easier finishing and for sewing lots of fleece garments as gifts. I could not be happier! Would buy it again!

Wrong machine for me

I wanted a serger specifically for hemming t-shirts with the double row of stitching that you see on most of them but the 1034D does not do that kind of hem. My fault. I obviously didn't do sufficient research. However, since that was my only reason for buying a serger I have barely used it. I have watched the videos and read the book that came with it and it seems great for what it does. A friend has one and loves it. Based on her experience I would recommend it.

All my expectations were met with the 1034D Serger. I haven't tried all it can do yet but the basic serger has served me well with holiday projects. It surprised me how strong the cutter is as it will cut through many layers of tough stuff.
I am well pleased with my purchase. There are probably better ones out there but certainly not for this price.

Not a bad machine

This has been a nice little machine so far. I only had some problems with threading the machine, as I couldn't quite understand the diagrams for the underlooper, but once I got it figured out, it was smooth sailing from there.
I've already sewn on a variety of different fabrics without any problems and am enjoying the different variations of stitches I can sew. It has been fairly easy to use and is very user friendly. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

First Serger Bought

I bought this serger because of the great reviews on it. This is my first one and I am very happy with all that it does. It is very easy to thread. All of my seams look great now. I wish I had bought one years ago. It would have saved me many hours in getting a project done. I look forward to many years of sewing with it.

In the 1980's had expensive serger and had so much trouble with it I finally gave it to goodwill. Bought the Brother 1034D and I'm in love. So easy to use and the stitch qualituy is great, easy to thjread!! Love it.
