The lights RAPIDLY flash and change colour, there is no control device to change this. The lights are also long, untied strands of optical fibres that just hang about. It takes quite a bit of work to make it look decent.
Now, after 2 years the lights barely work. Despite taking care of it very well, it's now dead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
