Great new TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old Samsung TV died after years of use. It was only a 65". We chose to upgrade to the 85" and it is GREAT to see. The picture is clear and crisp, and the sound is just right for us.
It has been easy to set up, very similar to the last set. The remote is solar powered, so we have to remember to move it to a room with a window periodically because our TV room has no windows but that is way better then buying new batteries all the time.
A new feature that our old set didn't have is the recent watched on the home screen. That makes it so easy to pick up where we left off when we watched prior, rather then signing into whichever app we were using at the last watch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sometimes am on "overload" with the quantity of features and perks that come with this TV. I like the "Recent features", as I can just click there if I want to go back to what I was watching earlier. The only negative, and this has nothing to do with the tv itself, but all the channels want to peg you into the same hole.
I was recently annoyed because I found that after a certain amount of time, the tv would shut itself off, and I would have to turn it on again. I found the "Timer" setting and changed it to when I wanted the tv to turn off, but you should really have that info available when the Geek Squad sets up the devices for clients.
Another quirk is the sleep timer. I cannot seem to set it the time I want. I go into Settings, click over to where I want it, but it always defaults to "180 minutes". That's ok because it's at night, but still, I would like to control that feature.

Very good TV, but ..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is actually a very good TV, but I have to be honest, and unfortunately, artificial intelligence doesn't interpret the image from each of the streaming services well.What I mean is that if, for example, I'm watching content on Netflix and the image doesn't look good, I go to settings and make the necessary adjustments so that it looks good. But once I switched to another streaming service, then the image looks different I have to go to settings and tweak again until I get a good image And it shouldn't be like this, this is where Samsung should work its magic, the less the user has to intervene in the settings the better. Many people want a good image in everything they watch but don't know how to adjust the settings. And we can say that the problem is the source, that is, the streaming service, which can't agree on having a standard, but it will never happen. I repeat, this is where Samsung needs to work its magic.

Bright screen for a bright room
