The case looked nothing like the sales picture, no check or cross patterns on reverse side unless you held the case up to a very powerful light, then you could see a faint outline .

This is a good quality product, vey well finished and a perfect fit. I deducted 1 star as I preferred my previous Tech21 case for my Samsung which had a hi gloss finish all over, whereas this one has a mat finish on the sides which just doesn't feel quite as nice.
However, as for protecting the phone, I'm sure it does that very well, dropped my previous phone numerous times and no damage was done.

Good cases (I've bought a number of them over the years). Somewhat thicker and clunkier than others, but the right amount of protection, IMO.
