Great sound, but paint is already coming off…

The sound quality is really good, and honestly I’d give it 5 stars for that alone. But I’m annoyed because I bought a custom JBL Charge 6, got it just 9 days ago, and the paint is already coming off. It’s supposed to be waterproof, so why is the paint peeling just from being outside in the snow? I didn’t even get it wet besides that. The paint SHOULD NOT be coming off this easy. I’m really upset about it. The sound is great, but don’t waste your money on the custom design because the paint will come off really easily if it gets even a little wet. I learned my lesson.

I’m from Sri Lanka. I bought mine in September last year. And I had no issues with it at all. But after a month, when I plugged it into charge, always after around half an hour, it starts to beep. Like that warning beeping. But there were nothing there inside the charging port and in the cable. I have never put this into water. Even after a day, it did the same. I usually charge it like twice a month. And after 3 days of happening this, I switched my cable to a better cable. Even with that, same happened. The charger I was using was a Samsung 25W PD charger. Then I tried different cables, different chargers , different outlets even different houses. But it was the same.
And then somewhere around October, it stopped beeping but it started charging very very slowly. So now it takes a full day to me to get it fully charged. To be exact, it takes around 10 minutes to charge 1% of the battery.

The store I bought this refuses to let me claim my warranty. So I couldn’t do anything. I cannot give this to a local repair shop as most of them are not trustworthy. Because, last time I repaired my JBL headphones, after the repair, the sound was so muffled.
Could you please help me with this JBL?

Close to Perfection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE IT!! If I could have entered 4.99 stars, I would have! Let’s talk about the JBL Charge 6. The item is sleek and its portability is phenomenal! It came with a a comfortable strap to carry it with you. Perfect for on the go travelers! The sound quality is amazing. The the JBL Charge 6 has a charging port. There’s an ability to boost the bass when wanting that full, loud bump. The sound travels very far. I took it to a family get together ina backyard with a pool hot tub and waterfall.
Nobody had a hard time hearing the tunes. It has blue tooth capabilities and can connect to more than one device at a time. Pretty awesome! It’s easy to use and can be controlled through the JBL app if you have it. The bottom of the speaker has rubber and is flat for great stability on any surface. So why not the 5 stars? It isn’t with the item itself, it’s with the packaging or lack thereof. The speaker did not come with any sort of charger. I understand that a lot of items are interchangeable, but what if I was purchasing this for my dad, who has no other devices that use that port? So yes, this JBL charger 6 is perfect…for me, for you, for a parent, for anyone. Purchase one!

Nice Bluetooth speaker

This is a nice hand held speaker. It is a nice size and the sound is clear. While I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for super heavy base, it does produce some good base for its size. It also is a plus that it’s drop, dust, and waterproof. I won’t test out any of these, but definitely benefits for this speaker. I would definitely recommend it.

This is by far the best Bluetooth speaker I’ve ever owned! I’ve had a lot of different UE speakers that I thought were great until I got my hands on this beautiful purple Charge 6. Checks all the marks for a Bluetooth speaker. Durability? Check! Portability? Check! Well-made/designed? Check! Battery life? Check! And most importantly…sound quality? Check plus!! I’m absolutely in LOVE with this speaker I really am. I have no idea how JBL is gonna top this with the next addition to the “Charge” series but I can’t wait to find out lol
