Microphones are not great!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice and small karaoke machine that doesn’t take up a lot of room with a nice sleek design. The microphones are very weak and you can barely hear the person using the mic when music is playing. Without music it’s still very hard even with the volume turned up all the way. Only way to get a slightest bit of sound out of the mics is to literally have your mouth on the mic which makes singing not fun at all!! If the mics were better at capturing the audio I would have given this karaoke machine a 5!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great speaker. There microphones are a bit quiet for the karaoke part but still fun. My daughter loves that she can change the lights. Connecting was easy to several different devices. It’s easy to take with you. But it is in the bigger side of a portable speaker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Rockjam Pixel Karaoke Machine with two wireless microphones are the best for small parties, music games and fun activities. This karaoke machine is bluetooth connected so no need to adjust wires. The sound quality is good. Its not too loud but overall good. I wish the base could be more but I think it has two microphones thats the reason the base is not too high otherwise it would affect the sound pitch when someone speaks in the microphone. Two microphones are very good and unique addition for birthday celebrations songs, announcements for baby shower and to play a music. I am enjoying this karaoke machine. The battery life is also very good.

My absolute favorite feature? Those two wireless microphones! Seriously, no more tripping over cords or fighting for mic time; it’s a duet dream come true, and the built-in charging dock means they're always juiced up and ready for an impromptu performance (or a planned one, if you're organized!). Connecting my phone via Bluetooth was literally a two-second job, and suddenly, my entire music library became a karaoke catalog, ready to fuel hours of off-key serenades and surprisingly good renditions. Now, for full disclosure, while the machine itself is a blast, I have to admit that the sound quality picked up by the microphones isn't always the crispest. I've found that even with the music volume dialed down and the mic volume cranked up, it can sometimes struggle to capture the voice as clearly as a mic should. It's a minor hiccup in an otherwise fantastic package, but worth noting if you're expecting great quality vocal pickup. Would be great if it worked!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If this was marketed as just a speaker, I would have rated it better. Unfortunately, it is considered a karaoke machine and it does not function as one.
The microphones must be hollow based on their weight and the fact that they are unable to be turned on and used as a microphone. You can plug them in to charge and a blue light blinks while charging, but they still do not work once done.
The speaker does not have a screen that shows lyrics. It does connect through Bluetooth so you could make this work if the microphones would actually work. Unfortunately, they do not.
Pros of the machine: it is a nice compact size with a leather-ish strap for easy carrying. The pixelated art on the front screen can be changed and beats to the music. My kids are happy with the machine so it will go in their room and they can pretend the microphones work.
