Poor bass and ANC doesn’t work.

I’ve been using these a few days and found them pretty poor. First off, I can’t get any bass out of these without cranking the EQ in the app to extreme bass. Second, the ANC is not working at all. I don’t notice a difference with it on or off.

Thanks for your feedback. Our products use the default JBL EQ settings. If you prefer more bass, you need to adjust the EQ in the JBL Headphones app. For the noise-cancelling feature, we recommend trying our JBL Fit Checker tool with the "Check My Best Fit" option to see if it helps.

Good fit. Disappointing sound quality. Lousy ANC.

I recently bought these on sale with modest expectations. Unfortunately, I am generally disappointed. The fit and feel of these is good, and the wireless connection & touch control seems to work well enough. My disappointment is focused around the sound and ANC. Audio quality isn't very good for anything but podcasts, and the EQ function doesn't improve things sufficiently for me to want to listen to music with these. With the ANC, I'm unable to discern any difference in ambient noise when ANC is enabled vs. disabled (maybe mine is defective?). The Smart Ambient feature adds significant background white noise, while providing only minimal increase in ambient volume - so I don't see myself ever using it. I would not recommend these other than for the most basic listening needs, if you get them significantly discounted.

Don't buy if you have small ears!

I bought these a few weeks ago and have been trying consistently to wear them- sitting at my desk, running, walking, etc. I have very small ears, and the ear buds just won't stay in. Even sitting still at my desk, if I move my head just to look down, the ear buds fall out. The sounds quality is fine, but it's very frustrating that I can't even sit wearing them, much less go on a run like I had hoped! I doubt this is an issue for people with larger ears, just be warned if you have small ears! Additionally, when I am on a phone call they will suddenly get very quiet, even if I am on maximum volume.

Bought these on sale. Noise cancelation is great, audio quality is fantastic. I accidentally ran them through a full wash/dry laundry cycle because I forgot to take them out of my pocket. Seems like the microphone took a hit, but otherwise they're still working perfectly. I'm very impressed

Mixed because of a few things. My jbl bluetooth speakers have been amazing in the past, so I figured id try the beam 2s. Have have had the headphones for about 4 months.
I will start with the good. They sound good, charge fast and have multiple charges from the case. They Generally last all day.
Now the bad. From the start the ANC being on by default everytime you connect to the headphones is a massive oversight software wise. I could have missed the change for the setting, but support told me theres no change so I dont know. I did configure the tap controls to turn that off, but I have to so that every time I use them or go into range of another device paired. Its really annoying when you are working on something with your hands then you have random hissing in your ear. After a month I just got into the habit of tapping them every time I turn them on.
But next was the hardware. After a few months the connection with the pads in the case that charge the pods started making poor contact. Because of this they randomly connect to my phone. Watching a video or showing something to someone? Poof there goes your sound. Gotta go into my setting and disconnect them now. Also, they will just be dead when I go to use them. Its like death from a thousand cuts. Not bad if it was occasional, but this happens multiple times a day. I can't rma them because my kid lost one so I haven't bothered. I did try bending copper contacts out alil to make better contact but that only worked for about a day.
Overall I've just had a better experience with cheaper product
