Expensive but worth the investment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used my mixer for the first time and it is very heavy so it needs to be located in a stationary place. I am also left handed so adding ingredients is clunky even with the shield and shoot. The head is extremely heavy so raising and lowering is hard. I replaced a fifty year old Oster Kitchen Center that is still in good working order so I expect this will be the last mixer I ever buy. I got lots of attachments but will not be able to afford additional bowls or attachments as they are extremely expensive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having wanted to purchase a kitchenAid stand mixer for well over 20 years, but could not really justify the expense, I am so pleased that I finally chose to buy one. I am LOVING the fun of trying out well loved recipes and choosing to make double batches, as well as trying out new recipes and using the slicer attachments for such wonderful salads.

A Whole Family Gift

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a Christmas gift. Needless to say, it was opened very early. We have already created Christmas cookies, twice baked potatoes, and pasta with the pasta maker (purchased separately) Haven't used the slicer/shredder yet but if it works as well as the pasta maker, it will be great. Only thing I would change is the weight. It is fairly heavy when moving it from place to place.
