Assembly was easy, although it was missing one screw. It lit immediately, and seems to provide an acceptable amount of heat.

Natural gas patio heater

I really like that the heater just connects right into my gas line and I don't have to worry about replacing a tank, however the hose is very short and we had a hard time finding an extender so we could actually connect it. Also for the amount of money we spent on the heater, it should have come with a better base than cover than a flimsy plastic one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

WOW, much more convenient that Propane, and takes up much less space that propane. They heat a little hotter than my old propane heaters, which is great, I have 3 setup and is like a spring day even when 33 degrees outside!!!

Love my Natural Gas Patio Heaters!

Purchased one of these heaters last month and liked it so much, I purchased 3 in the end. The endless gas is super convenient and lights every time with heat in seconds. Makes any night enjoyable with the solid heat distribution extends the outdoor entertaining around the firepit/pool area to year-round. Would highly recommend one (or more) of these heaters.

WE HAVE PURCHASED 2 NAT GAS PATIO HEATERS 4 YEARS AGO. WE JUST PURCHASE OUR 3RD HEATER. WE ALSO HAVE PURCHASED PROPANE HEATERS IN THE PAST. 2 ARE STILL WORKING FINE (ONE HAS A BAD SCREEN AFTER 5 YEARS). WE USE THE HEATERS ON OUR DECK IN COLD WEATHER, LOOKING AT THE OREGON COAST RANGE MOUNTIANS.

Good quality but missing a couple of features

I'm impressed with the build quality and performance of this item and expect to get many years of use. First, I'd like to see this product shipped with a gas line, but that's a relatively minor and inexpensive fix. My only product concern is that it doesn't come with a freestanding base. Living in a condo, I'm not allowed to drill holes in my patio for your preferred mounting method and even if I could, I'm not sure I'd want to risk compromising the integrity of the concrete over time. The alternative method of using stakes didn't feel secure to me, nor could I get the heater close enough to my patio table to be effective. I ended up repurposing a stone umbrella base that seems to work well enough. I looked for but couldn't find an alternative base.
I'd really like to see a secure, moveable base offered as an upgrade.
