Seems to pick everything up and easy to clean. Only concern is amount of plastic the vacuum is made with and we all know what happens to plastic over time but we will see.

I bought this and returned it the next day. I was very disappointed with Dyson. The biggest issue was having to hold the power button the entire time while vacuuming—it’s very annoying, and after just 3 minutes my fingers started to hurt. My second concern was the suction power; it was not as strong as I expected from Dyson. Definitely not recommended if you’re paying over $500 for a vacuum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

At the sale price of 499 or so I would find this vacuum to be an excellent deal. It has very, very good engineering and husband optimized to pick up dirt with the least amount of suction. And everything efficiency wise has been maximized. As far as vacuums go I was always thinking that dysons were probably overangied and not worth it and I have now totally changed my opinion. This vacuum is absolutely worth it and an extremely well engineered product. I will not be buying another type of vacuum again

Excellent suction

This Dyson is everything I needed it to be; lightweight (although just a bit more weight than my previous stick vacuum)functional, high suction, and versatile. The three different speeds are all I need for cleaning as are the three wand attachments that come with it. We were amazed at our first cleaning of the living room rug; the canister was almost full and you could see the hair that it picked up (we don’t have a pet but I have fairly long hair) the vacuum picked it up easily. I had a Dyson before, I went through 2 batteries, and then had to replace it as there were no longer parts for that one. I went to another brand because it was cheaper, but I never was quite satisfied with that other one; it quit working after 2 years and the company no longer can be found. I knew my next vacuum had to be a Dyson; they are just better. The instructions and ease of registering are great. I would recommend this vacuum for anyone looking for a good all around vacuum.

We love it! This is an upgrade from our previous Dyson. I would only recommend DYSON. No bags to purchase. Being cordless is a real game changer. Chargers very quickly. Great suction too! Always does a great job. If you don’t already have the attachments I would recommend them too! Honestly there are no negatives with a DYSON.
