Battery down to 1 day of life from a full charge.
on January 14, 2026
Posted by: John
from Denver, CO
Product battery life has deteriorated significantly. Advertised as 6 days but down to less than 1 day which defeats the purpose of sleep tracking. The degradation started within the warranty period but my wife did not inform me of the issue until recently and we are 14 months in so 2 months out of the warranty period. Expect to have to purchase this on a yearly basis based on this experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello John,
We love that you've reached out to share your personal experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We understand how frustrating it may feel to have a device that may not be holding the same battery life as anticipated. As you know, Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. Check out the resources shared below to help resolve what you've described. If you would like further assistance after checking out the resources provided, please do not hesitate to contact Samsung Support at your earliest convenience. Thanks for being a faithful Samsung customer.

Greetings Fold7user,
Thanks for providing us with detailed feedback regarding your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We strive to provide our customers with exceptional experiences and quality. Samsung offers a 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. There are a few things to keep in mind when wearing the Galaxy Ring. For instance, you'll want to ensure that the orientation indicator on the side of the ring is facing towards your palm. Also, make sure the ring fits and there are no gaps between your skin and the ring’s inner surface. This will ensure proper health tracking. It's best to wear the ring on your non-dominant hand to avoid scratching it and avoid wearing metal jewelry on adjacent fingers. Be sure to remove the ring when handling heavy or hard objects and avoid wearing the ring when handling magnets, as these may interrupt the health tracking features. Feel free to check out, "How to set up and wear your Galaxy Ring" if you would like to learn more. We understand how frustrated you may be to not have your device looking as pristine as it was during your unboxing. Here's a few precautions: Prevent the ring from being exposed to dust, sweat, ink, oil, and chemical products such as cosmetics, antibacterial sprays, hand cleaners, detergents, and insecticides. The ring’s exterior and interior may become damaged, which may result in poor performance. If the ring is exposed to any of these substances, clean it using a soft, lint-free cloth. Never use external heat sources, ultrasonic waves, soap, cleaning agents, abrasive materials, or compressed air to clean the ring. Doing so may damage the ring. Feel free to check out, "Keep your Galaxy Ring clean" if you would like to learn more. Let us know if you would like to share additional feedback with us or if you would like further assistance after reviewing the resources shared by contacting Samsung Support at your earliest convenience. Thank you for being an integral part of the Samsung community.

All the good of a smart watch - none of the bad
on April 27, 2026
Posted by: Bamhorgerhamborger
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When smart watches first came out I got myself one. I thought it would be cool to get the health data & notifications while being able to leave my phone where it belongs - in my pocket. This was a mistake. They looked goofy. The battery died far too frequently. Being more accessible though my wrist? Total mistake. The health tracking data was nice though, but at the time it couldn't possibly make up for the downsides. My galaxy ring was an attempt to get back into wearables without the distraction. Problems solved, we kept the good in the health tracking, dropped the bad in the notifications, and fixed the fixable with the battery life being actually usable. Good stuff samsung. Its an example of good tech. Does its job, requires near no maintenence and is total stealth mode. I can now keep my nice fancy watch but get the benefits of all the new age data.

Save your money - buy an Oura ring
on May 27, 2026

from Fort Lauderdale, FL
I loved this ring at first. Battery life was extraordinary, super comfortable, doesn't wear over time in color or shine, and far easier to wear to sleep than a watch. And, obviously, the insights are great especially when paired with the watch. Sadly, it's only been 8 months and the battery life is abysmal. It used to only need recharging once every 4-5+ days, but now I'm lucky if I can get 7 hours out of it. Lots of feedback online (check reddit, etc.) about this issue with little to no support for replacement or fixing by Samsung. I've been a lifetime Samsung person and am bought into the entire ecosystem but this is a miss. Save your coins and find another ring instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
