Greetings Oscar, Thanks for taking the opportunity to reach out and share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your critiques provide valuable insights that will assist us with improving our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. Typically on a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. To prevent damage to your device, avoid wearing other metal rings on the same or adjacent fingers, and remove the ring when handling heavy, hard, or abrasive objects. If you have any questions for us or if you would like any further assistance afterward, please let us know by contacting Samsung Support at your leisure. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer. - Debra

Lacking technology and accuracy tracking
on March 19, 2026

I owned a Ringconn for 2 years and because all my other technology is Samsung, I decided to change my ring to Samsung. After 3 weeks of using the Samsung ring I am disappointed. I play tennis for 2 hours and the ring only captures 2,000 steps. My watch and previous rings would capture at least 5,000 steps. The Ringconn also detected activity and suggested a form of exercise and asked me to categorized that activity. The Samsung does not recognize antiviral. Also, the sleep scoring is unpredictable. Last night I slept 7 hours and 45 minutes with 1 hrs 45 minutes deep sleep, 1hr 30 minutes REM. And fell asleep in 5 minutes(but the watch recorded 4hours). That was a sleep score of 50!!! The look of the ring is nice and so is the finish. I feel like the technology is off or I have a defective ring.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Howdy KentF, Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your candor as we make every effort to improve the performance and functionality of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Inaccurate step counts and/or activity tracking on your Galaxy Ring often stem from improper fit or incorrect sensor orientation (sensors should face the palm). For your convenience, I have linked a few resources below to help resolve what you've described to be experiencing with your device. After checking them out, feel free to reach out to Samsung Support if you would like further assistance. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer. - Debra

Very pleased with the pairing and the integration to the Galaxy ecosphere! I no longer wear my watch to sleep and can use that downtime to charge the watch while the ring keeps track of my sleep. Battery anxiety gone... :D
If you're looking for step and sleep tracking during more times of your day than you can wear a smartwatch, or don't have an interest in a smartwatch, this is a solid product.
Understand it does *nothing else* outside of that.
Being new technology, the price is understandable. But it's hard to justify what it does to improve your life for the cost. It can be tempting to have the cool new thing, which is what got me...but ultimately the watch does more for less. And both together provide minimal accuracy bumps (supposedly).
It's nice to be able to wash hands with it on. I have significantly more data and better sleep tracking than I ever have thanks to wearing it at night. It's not good to wear when lifting weights.
Look for a bundle and save deal if you're interested or stay tuned for future variations if you're on the fence.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Samsung Galaxy Ring is awesome. The only thing I don't like is that it registers your sleep score when you get up to use the rest room and then it gives you a poor sleep score.
Stopped charging after 3 weeks. 2nd Samsung Ring to do this. First one last just over a year. Poorly built product.

Battery life is an issue over time.

I want to love my ring but I just can't. I am on my second ring after getting my first one replaced. I had my first ring for less than a year when the battery started draining extremely fast. I was having to charge it every 48 hours. I sent it in for "repairs" but it couldn't be fixed so I was given a refund which I used to purchase a new ring. I've had this ring for less than 6 months & I'm now having to charge it every day. I could send it in for repairs but what would be the point. I am sure the exact same thing will happen. I wear my ring every single day. I never get it wet, even though it is supposed to be water resistant. I have never fully trusted that feature, lol. So, I really dont want to go weeks without it again. I am so extremely disappointed! I am a true Samsung fanatic & want all of my devices to be connected. I was so excited about the potential features. But I really could've purchased a different brand if I knew that the ring wouldn't last at all & would be an absolute waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
