Terrible battery life after 9 months
on April 2, 2026
Posted by: Anonymous
It works great the first 9 months of use. Then it starts degrading very fast. After 11 months the battery last less than 2 hours from 100%-0% while recording sleep. It barely even last 8 hours when you're wearing it through the day. That's with my Galaxy Watch on. I bought it to track my sleep and it can't even do that anymore. This product is not worth $399+ taxes. Waste of money, do not buy. I would have given it 1 star if not for the first 9 months of decent performance.

Good day Android17, Thanks for taking the opportunity to review your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your feedback allows us to remain committed to constant innovation as we strive to improve the design and functionality of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ that is similar to extended warranty and an insurance package combined that provides protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It would cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ offers you that peace of mind when added to your eligible devices (Phones, Tablets, Watches, Buds, Rings & PCs). Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. Please feel free to review the resources shared below to help resolve what you've described to be experiencing with your battery life. Let us know if you would like further assistance afterward by reaching out to Samsung Support at your earliest convenience. Thank you for being a dedicated Samsung customer. - Debra

The ring does exactly what I had hoped for when I purchased it. I used it to track my health, especially my sleep. In tracking my sleep, I find I use the hints to modify my habits to produce more useful sleep and find my overall energy and ability to concentrate has improved. I also keep an eye on my heart rate and stress level.
