Battery life is an issue over time.
on September 22, 2025
Posted by: DownWithDawn
I would have previously did that I absolutely LOVE my Samsung Galaxy ring. But now, 8 months after purchasing I'm now having to charge it every 24 - 36 hrs. The biggest selling point was the long battery life. That way I wouldn't have to sleep in my watch. If the battery issue can be fixed I'll be a happy girl once again!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi DownWithDawn, Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us about your Samsung Galaxy Ring. As we strive to be innovative and make improvements on the design and functionality of our products, your feedback is invaluable. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The battery life of the Galaxy Ring can last for up to 7 days of consecutive use on a full charge. When you are not using the Ring, it is recommended to store it in the charging case. You can fully charge the Ring in about 90 minutes using the charging case. However, when charging for the first time or when the battery is completely drained, it may take at least ten minutes for the Ring to begin working. Actual battery life, charging time, and usage time may vary depending on the Ring’s size, the network environment, personal usage patterns, amount of calls and messages, charging frequency, and other factors. Charge time varies with settings, usage patterns, and environmental factors; actual results may vary. If you would like to learn more, feel free to check out "How to charge the Galaxy Ring." Let us know if you would like any further assistance afterward by reaching out to Samsung Support. Thank you for being a cherished Samsung customer. - Debra

A very good investment!
on October 11, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this galaxy ring. It helps me keep track of my health by monitoring and keeping track of my sleep hours, my heart rate, Galaxy AI, and even my steps walked for the day. I also have the Galaxy watch but don't tend to use it as much simply because I don't charge it but the galaxy ring does just as much as the watch and is more convenient to wear all the time, it also had long battery life. The ONLY reason I'm rating a 4/5 stars and not 5/5 is because I use the galaxy ring mainly to keep track of my sleep, unfortunately because I work night shifts, I can't use the sleeping coach. The galaxy watch still tracks my sleep for me but it would be cool if I could use the sleeping coach as well, even with my irregular sleep schedule. I hope someone from team samsung sees this and gives nightshifters a chance to be able to use sleeping coach as well. Aside from that, the galaxy ring is everything I wanted and an overall amazing investment!

Hello Subba,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your feedback as we strive to make improvements on the performance and functionality of our product line. The Galaxy Ring can track workouts automatically for supported activities like walking and running. The data collected can then be viewed in the Samsung Health app. To set up and enable this feature, go to the Galaxy Wearable app > Health settings > Activities to detect, then turn on auto-detection and choose which exercises to track. For non-supported workouts, it's recommended to manually start and stop the tracking in the Samsung Health app to ensure the most accurate data is being collected. We would be more than happy to assist you with what you may be experiencing with your device but we need more details regarding what may be occurring before we can do so. Please feel free to reach out to Samsung Support at your leisure if you would like any further assistance with troubleshooting your feature functionality. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer.

do NOT recommend
on February 11, 2026
Posted by: angeltcgirl
Like many others have said, I have owned several samsung products (watch, tv, tablets, phone, etc.) and loved them all -- but I do NOT recommend this one. I haven't worn it very much (since I also have the watch) but when I tried to recharge it and wear it again the other day - its just dead.. the ring itself won't light up. I have tried all of the instructions about resetting it, my charger works and shows that the ring is at 51% but the ring has no lights and so when I remove it from the charger, it disconnects. Unfortunatly, its about a year old now so doubt it would be covered, I just didn't except this product to break so soon since I barely used it and it mostly just stayed in the charging station.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Greetings Angeltcgirl,
Thank you for reaching out to share your feedback with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your valuable input as we improve our product line. As you are aware, Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. To prevent damage to your device, avoid wearing other metal rings on the same or adjacent fingers, and remove the ring when handling heavy, hard, or abrasive objects. Let us know if you would like to share any other feedback with us or if you would like further assistance after reviewing the resources shared below by reaching out to Samsung Support. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer.

Battery won't last 2 days after 14 months
on February 21, 2026
Posted by: Erick
from San Diego, CA
Great while it lasts. 14 months later, the battery dropped to 2 days from six a year ago. It dropped in the last two months. I wonder how soon it won't last a day. Support said it is out of warranty and that it is normal for the battery to deteriorate. I love Samsung but I won't be an early adopter again of any of their products until is well tested.

Dead Battery
on March 5, 2026
Posted by: Joey
from Los Angeles, CA
After several months of ownership, like many others, the battery no longer holds a charge. I now only wear it at night just for the sleep tracking to which it has roughly 15% remaining battery charge. It cannot hold a charge for a full day. When it worked it was a good addition to my Samsung watch for tracking, but the battery design is flawed. Avoid this model and wait for a future product if you must.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
