Unwatchable, Way to much glare. Esthetically horrible compare to my old 50 inch sharp tv. Unable to cast my Vidéotron app to integrated google tv. I had to connect my Google tv dongle.
I'm so glad I went into the store. My husband wanted an OLED TV, because he said the blacks were extremely black. They're so black that if you're watching a dark movie, the glossy finish of the screen makes it look like glass. The colors actually look fake when comparing them side by side, and I'm an artist.
I never thought I would notice the difference between our old TV and this mini LED 55 in Bravia 7 TV, but wow! Now that the Olympics are on, I can really see how clear the images are. The whites are very white, but you can adjust the brightness. I like the timer feature so that it turns off if your guest won't go to bed haha The remote control is super easy and after one day I knew where most of the buttons were without looking at it. I just wish I could control my Telus box from the Bravia remote control, but I haven't figured that out yet. We did not mount it on the wall, it sits on a glass stand. There are two sets of mounting holes for the feet, narrow and wide.
Ordered product as I desired a brighter screen than my older LG Nano TV. The Sony Bravia 7 provides the desired brightness per its reviews. Product performs as advertised. There are two minor, but noticeable nits with this TV; 1) screen reflection is high as claimed in the reviews and quite apparent in low light viewing, and 2) A minor but desired control is the ability to control the screen dimensions to minimize black bars at top and bottom of viewing portion; past Sony TVs I had used the "Wide" function for this adjustment, and while the Wide function for the Sony Bravia 7 is available during viewing from the TV it does not function. When using my Roku to view movies the "Wide" function is also not available, but the Bravia 7 provides a content dimension adjustment that is cumbersome, but generally useful for this feature. It would really be nice if Sony opened up the "Wide" function for content viewing using streaming devices. Other that this poorly handled feature the TV meets all my needs.
