The item appears to be advertised as brand new but upon receiving the purchase you get a carboard box with the parts. No manual, no Microsoft Box. There are a few scratches and imperfections. I was under the impression I was receiving a brand new item. This feels scammy and unfortunate. It works but the part that goes into the laptop has gotten really hot and it's barely been plugged in for more than 5 minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
