Great machine. Easy to use, makes great ice cream. Comes w recipes and instructions. I separately ordered the Whytner big book of recipes. The batches are smaller than 2.1 capacity but good for tastings.
If doing batches consecutively the unit needs to thaw for about 3o minutes before the bucket can be removed. (Cause it's frozen in the machine.)

Simple with excellent results

We just bought this and made our first batch of ice cream. It was extremely simple and straightforward and the results were the best custard ice cream we’ve ever tasted

This ice cream maker is easy to use and makes up to 2 quarts. It’s convenient (since there is no pre-freezing or ice needed) and relatively quick (an hour or less).

Perfect Homemade Ice Cream

Bought this a few days ago and we have definitely given it a workout. This makes perfect ice cream, and the best part is you can customize it any way you like! We don’t eat sugar and have made several sugar free versions that have turned out even better than we imagined! Thick and creamy or “scoopable”! Love it!

I love this machine, I love how easy it is to make ice cream with most of my recipes knocked out in less than an hour total so far. It's creamy from water ice to sorbet to hard ice cream. It is an absolute champ. It is not that big as many people claimed for having its own compressor and the amount you can fit in it with 2.1 quarts and most recipes producing 1 quart so you don't overfill it. We had an issue the first time with it freezing up on the sides before fully churning the entire product, but I learned. It's easy to learn with this too since you don't have to wait 24 hours per batch. The possibilities are endless. I love this machine.
