Purchased this some time ago because of the quality expressed in the reviews. Easy to install and works very well. If I ever had the need to purchase another door bell it would be Aosu. Great backup if needed.

I鈥檝e been testing the Aosu V8s for a few weeks now, and I鈥檓 genuinely impressed. Here is the breakdown of why I think it鈥檚 currently the best value on the market:
- **Video Quality (10/10):** The 2K resolution is incredibly sharp. But the real star here is the **4:3 aspect ratio**. Most doorbells use a widescreen 16:9 ratio, which crops the top and bottom. With the V8s, I can see someone鈥檚 face and a package on the ground at the same time. It feels like the way a doorbell *should* be designed.
- **Smart Detection:** The AI is excellent. It filters out 99% of the false alerts (like cars passing by or bugs flying near the lens) and only notifies me when a person actually approaches the door.
- **No Monthly Fees:** This is a huge plus. You can store footage locally on the base station, so you aren't held hostage by a subscription to actually use the features you paid for.
- **Build Quality:** It feels solid and weatherproof, and the night vision is crystal clear.

It works great as a doorbell but worthless as a camera. Misses half of deliveries and on the few that it detects, the recorded file does not show the first 5 seconds, which is the most important as it provides facial capture. We only get their back side as they leave. I bought this to replace the Blink camera I had as I was hoping to get away from subscriptions, but this one was a waste of money. I will go back to Blink. Support was responsive but could not help correct the issues.

It took me awhile to set up because my wifi was configured wrong. I was on the phone with a couple of people in the help center and they were good to work with. However, after several hours over multiple calls and emails I finally realized my router was set up for WPA-3 and it needs to be WPA-2. That was the issue. "Julie" was very good and helpful.
I recommend that the instructions be more specific for the Router configuration straight from the box so its clear what does and doent not work without needing to speak with service techs.

I鈥檝e had this 2k doorbell camera for a couple of months now and have been impressed by how well it鈥檚 been working. The battery life is impressive, lasting throughout a cold winter with only needing to be charged twice over the last 2 months. I added an SD card for local storage, all video is baked up and easy to retrieve. For the price you can鈥檛 go wrong, it鈥檚 great value.

I have recently purchased and installed 2 video doorbell pro one for each entrance. I am from Montreal, Canada and it is winter time. The battery life thus far exceeds my expectations and on top of that i get the amazing quality of the video camera. I have paired up the doorbell with my video camera in the aosu and my family couldn鈥檛 be happier with the complete system. We truly recommend this product and all aosu products.
