Overall, I do like the new MacBook with the M1 Chip but I have had a few issues with my external monitor. The screen flickers and sometimes it doesn't activate immediately when I initially open my laptop.
Additionally, even when not connected to my external monitor, the laptop screen flickered several times.
The battery only lasts about 6 hours with constant use and connection to an external monitor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would definitely recommend this laptop to anyone who is looking for something that is fast, has great battery life and is looking for something that is compact! the only downside is there are not enough USB C ports on it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

getting used to Apple product

While I have worked with a power Mac a few years ago, it takes time to figure it out again after years of Microsoft>
One issue I am having is display brightness which will not remain where I set it. It keeps going to factory default(yes auto brightness is turned off as that only made it worse.
Other than that its behaving very well

I bought another computer and I couldn’t figure it out. Than it came to me that I only have Apple products. So I took the old one back and got an Apple Laptop! It is working great!
