It was not clear that a base needed to be used but I ordered one from bcp and it was delivered quickly so I was able to put the umbrella out near our pool. The size of it provides so much more shade than others I have purchased. Really happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the 10 ft offset hanging umbrella in brown, along with the weighted base sold separately. I am very happy with my purchase. Initial set-up was easy, as well as easy to use. There was a minor issue with missing part, but customer service (via email) was very attentive and I was 100% satisfied with how they handled it. I love the shade that it provides. As far as I have been able to determine it has two positions, as pictured, not multiple angles that you can set it at, but that has been fine. Highly recommend this product and company!

Flawed design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received product secured base with CONCRETE anchors base has 4 bolts. The umbrella is too heavy it broke after having used it two times. The welding that holds the base is too weak to hold the weight when umbrella is fully opened. I don't recommend this product.
