Lights short out

The 7.5ft outdoor solar patio umbrella is a decent unit with one major exception.
It’s styling, color, light distribution are wonderful. The umbrella crank works well, and the lighting(3 LED’s per arm) supply a very nice overhead lighting that is not overly bright, but would add ambiance if over a dining table. One additional feature is that there is an on/off switch for the lights on the umbrella support pole.
The one quality exception is the plug of the solar battery going into the light string is unstable. When opening the umbrella, the lights short out until you find a stable elevation, consequently the umbrella can not be fully extended with the lights working.

The umbrella arrived promptly and was in perfect condition. We chose the gray in the hopes that it would not fade quickly in the NC sun. it looks great out on our back patio. The lights look pretty at night and add additional special touch.

Great umbrella

Deliver was quick. Set up was easy. The crank makes it so easy to put the umbrella down and up. Great size for my balcony. Great price. Best part is the lights. They are small meant more for atmosphere and ambience. Just enough lighting to grab your drink or food in the dark without stumbling on something. Sturdy umbrella.
