Durable but hard to fill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The base goes well with the accompanying umbrella but filling it with sand to weight it down proved inefficient and cumbersome since the hole is roughly the size of a hose. The plastic is durable and the overall appearance reflects a quality product.

Great wicker look umbrella base

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great looking umbrella base. Easy to insert umbrella and has 2 screws to tighten. We filled ours with water so we could easily drain and put away in the fall. The last base we had was metal and got rusted. Glad we won't have that problem with this one!

Base plate rusts very quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottom steel plate rusted through in two weeks. It stained the concrete. I had a power washing Co try to remove the stain. No luck. The metal is too cheap. I have since placed a neoprene square under the metal plate. The base still rusts but at least the pool decking doesn’t suffer.
