I have an offset umbrella used on a deck that gets a lot of ocean winds and a heavy base is needed. This vas was very large an d did not cover the metal stand

Just filled it with water. Each container (there are 4 containers) holds 50 lbs water. We live in a wicked windy area and the base has been perfect against windy conditions!

Great Umbrella Stand

I was so sick and tired of my patio umbrella moving around or flying out and breaking. I live Florida, only 5 miles to the beach so my back yard gets a little windy quite a bit. A friend of mine told me to look into an umbrella base, so I decided to get this black Best Choice Products Patio 4-Piece Cantilever Offset Umbrella Base Stand. This came put together, we added some water and it was done, so simple and easy!! I LOVE this umbrella stand it works great, it has kept my umbrella up with no problems. I also love that it is supposed to be protected against fading, which is very important in Florida. I can now sit comfortably in my backyard in any kind of weather.

I really needed this umbrella base stand. We bought a new umbrella for spring, and it's been so windy lately that the umbrella won't stay put. So, I went searching for a good umbrella stand that would keep the umbrella in place. As soon as this stand arrived, my husband put it together, filled it up with sand, and put the umbrella in place. Ever since then, no issues with the umbrella getting beat up by the wind. I'll probably by a second one now that I know how good this one works to hold down the other umbrella we have. Overall, great buy!
