This stand came in just three days as I remember and the pieces separate and fill with water then latch together easily. Must be on level surface. We got the blue and it feels like I'm at the beach near the water. I just love love love it. Super easy to assemble too!

The stand of 4 separate pieces relies on 4 metal brackets snapped into holes on each of stand pieces. These hold 4 pieces together.
They do not counter wt for the umbrella and a wind can topple it. We have.extra rocks to keep the clips in the.holes and hold the.crossbar from lifting. That design engineer is now fired.
The only good piece is the.umbrella material and color. I want a refund!

Despite the limited instructions (thus the docking of one star) the base was easy to assemble and is a great concept. It secures the umbrella well under normal weather conditions. What I see as a plus If you fill the 4 “tanks” with water you have about 25 gallons of emergency water.

Really nice set to keep your umbrella down. You can add water or sand or a mix between the two. I think four filled with water is plenty to keep it down and steady. Each weight about 35-40lbs with water (Mine are filled with water). Very good buy. Glad I got them.
