Just what we needed

Recently, we bought an umbrella for our patio area. However, it came with a lightweight base. So, we bought the base to keep it stable on windy days. It's super-easy to set up and works perfectly.

Great idea, but the hooks that were provided to connect the squares were not measured properly so they could not be connected together.

Well, these are suggested as the appropriate weights to use with the cantilever umbrella. unfortunately, the cross bars on the cantilever umbrella are too wide to be able to affix the connecting U shaped connectors as intended. while they are easy to fill and position, theyre equally as easy to bump out of correct position. i dont feel like these securely weight the umbrella because they are easily bumped and moved.

The base was easy to fill and move. Only complaint is that the metal clips that hold it together could be longer because the umbrella base is taller than the stand so they barely fit back into the holes to keep it together when put around the base. This was the recommended base for our umbrella too. We will see how it works when the wind is strong, but so far its holding!
