The base is good quality,

The base is good quality, but the clips to hold it together do not fit well, they're not really needed but if you move the umbrella the plate will move and need to be adjusted, would be nice if it was more "attached" as one unit. Also, check the dimensions-the footprint BIG.

Poorly designed pins

The metal pins used to hold the 4 sections together aren’t long enough for a solid hold. It’s poorly designed unless someone has pins with longer ends.

Does the job but takes up a lot of floor space

I bought this base to support a large umbrella I bought from this website. I did not have any issues filling them with water but they do take up a big space on the floor on my deck. I will buy some planters to cover them up so it’s not a big deal but if you have a small space it might make and a difference.

great and easy to use with the cantilever umbrella I bought. totally recommend this to keep your umbrella safe and not tipping or flying off. I filled mine with water and had it around my umbrella in minutes . Set some potted plants on them ....super cute.

Pretty good weights for a cantilever umbrella

Item arrived quickly. I filled with water only because I haven’t been able to pick up play sand. The brackets that keep them linked together don’t work that well. However it’s probably because the ground it is on is not leveled.
